Article 1. Purpose and parties
These terms set out the rights, obligations and responsibilities of PROJECTTEAMFORYOU (프로젝트팀포유, “the Company”) and users regarding the FileFix Ultimate website and the sale and delivery of business licenses (one-year licenses). Seller information appears below on this page and at the bottom of every page.
Article 2. What we sell
A one-year business license gives the right to use FileFix Ultimate for work on one PC for one year. Prices are shown on the purchase page (in Korean won including VAT on the Korean page, and in US dollars on the other language pages). The total is the price per PC multiplied by the number of PCs.
A license has the same features as free personal use. There is no automatic renewal or recurring charge; when the term ends, you buy again if you need to.
Article 3. Orders and payment
The Korean purchase page uses NHN KCP card payment through PortOne; the purchase pages in other languages use PayPal. Card numbers and other payment details are handled by the payment provider; the Company does not receive or store them.
The amount is set by the Company's server, and the license key is issued only after the payment status and amount are confirmed with the payment provider. If the result does not match the order, automatic issuing stops and we resolve it after checking.
Article 4. Delivery
When the payment is confirmed, the license key is shown immediately on the payment result page, which completes delivery. If you lose the key, you can retrieve it on the “Retrieve your license key” page with your order number and the email used at checkout.
Article 5. Withdrawal and refunds
If you ask within 7 days of payment, we refund the full amount and the license key becomes invalid. After 7 days there are no refunds. However, duplicate charges, payment errors and cases where the Company could not deliver a key are refunded at any time. Details are in the refund policy.
In line with Article 17(2) of the Korean Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, the Company presents this information and asks for your consent before payment.
Article 6. User obligations
Users must not register a key on more PCs than they purchased, and must not transfer, sell, share or publish a key to other companies or organizations. If a key is found to have leaked, the Company may invalidate it and will issue a new key to the rightful buyer.
Article 7. Company liability
Unless caused by intent or gross negligence, the Company is not liable for recovery results or for indirect damages such as data loss or lost business. To the extent permitted by law, the Company's liability concerning a business license is limited to the amount the user paid for that order. This article does not restrict rights that consumers have under the law.
Article 8. Changes to these terms
When we change these terms, we post the effective date and the changes on this page at least 7 days in advance, or 30 days in advance for changes that are unfavorable to users. The term and number of PCs of licenses already purchased do not change.
Article 9. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. If a dispute arises, both sides will first try to settle it in good faith; otherwise it will be resolved by the court with jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act. Users may also apply for mediation to a consumer dispute body such as the Korea Consumer Agency.

FileFix Ultimate end-user license agreement (EULA)
This license agreement applies to everyone who installs or runs FileFix Ultimate version 1.0.6 or later.
1. Scope
This agreement applies to version 1.0.6 and later. Copies already distributed as version 1.0.5 or earlier remain under the Apache License 2.0 included with those copies; this agreement does not change them retroactively. Third-party components included in the app are governed by their own licenses.
2. Personal use — free
Non-commercial personal use, where an individual recovers data from their own devices or their family's, is free. You can use every feature with no recovery limits and no account.
3. Business use — one-year license required
Use for the work of a company, organization, public agency, school, sole proprietor or freelancer, and commercial or work use such as paid data recovery services or repair shops, is business use. Business use requires a one-year license for each PC on which the app is used.
4. Honor-based licensing
The app works offline and does not determine whether it is used personally or for work. It does not lock any feature when no key is registered or a key has expired; it only shows a notice. Business users are nevertheless obliged under this agreement to buy licenses.
5. What is not allowed
You may not sell or rent the app or redistribute it for a fee, share, generate or tamper with license keys, or distribute the app with its signature or copyright notices removed or altered, except to the extent the applicable law expressly permits.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, the Company makes no express or implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or recovery results. Results depend on the condition of the storage device; before working on important data, we recommend copying or backing it up to a device other than the one being recovered.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company is not liable for indirect or incidental damages such as data loss, business interruption or lost profits arising from the use of the app, except for damage caused by the Company's intent or gross negligence. The Company's liability to buyers of business licenses is limited to the amount paid for the license concerned.
8. Termination
If you breach this agreement, your license ends and you must stop using the app. Business users can remedy a breach by buying licenses.
9. Governing law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
